Kings League Fantasy by Kolex creates a Fantasy League for each of the competitions run by the real life Kings League. You will see competitions throughout the year from Kings World Cup Nations to the Brazil Regional Split.
To access these competitions ensure you have the fantasy tab highlighted in the main navigation, and then use the competition select drop down to view the leagues that are available to join. This area is split into tabs, Public Leagues and Private Leagues.
Public Leagues
These are the primary leagues for Kings League Fantasy, where managers compete with others from around the world. In this section you will see the leagues split out between a few sections.
My Leagues are all of the competitions you have currently joined and have a team to actively manage.
Open Leagues are the currently running competitions across Kings League in which you may join and compete.
Completed Leagues allows you to look back at previous, closed tournaments as a reminder of progress, outcomes, results etc.
All primary Public Leagues follow the same rules and game mechanics and do not change or alter by region.
Joint or Split Teams
When joining a league for the first time, you are asked if you’d like to continue with a joint team, or split team. Every Public League has 2 leaderboards to compete in; standard and prestige. They both follow the same rules and game mechanics with only a single but important difference, Prestige mode offers additional point bonuses dependent on card collectibles used with players. You can read more about these bonuses in the card selection section.
Entering the league with a joint team, allows for a simplified experience with only one team to manage, whilst still competing across both the standard and prestige leaderboards. However for the more committed and experienced managers who prefer the utmost control, you may enter with a split team. Starting with a Split team allows you to manage two teams independently of one another. One team will compete in the Standard leaderboard whilst the other competes in the Prestige.
Private Leagues
Private Leagues allow you to set up your own tournament to invite friends and family to play along. After selecting a name you may select from the competitions currently available which your league will follow, You may search and find your friends using their usernames to invite them to your league, don’t worry, you will still have the option to manage the invites including inviting more within the league setting after launching the league.
Depending on the competition, you may have options for Private and Classic. Private Mode follows all the same rules and mechanics as the Public Leagues. Classic Mode has additional rules on top, with the primary difference being that each real football player only exists once within a league and cannot be owned by more than one manager. This puts a cap of a maximum of 12 managers within one league. There are many other fun and exciting additions to this mode too, which you can read about further in our Classic Mode help section.
New league customisation options will also be available when first setting up a league, allowing you to modify the starting budget to give you the option of making your private league very difficult or very easy for obtaining players. You will also have the option to modify the card weight, which is the multiplier strength for the Collectible Card Boosts. So if you’d like to create a league with friends where collectibles strength is over powered, you can throw this value to the max.
