What Is Trading On Kolex?

Kolex allows collectors to work with each other to find ways to complete their collections. One of these ways is through the act of trading with other collectors. As it sounds, one collector will send a request to another collector to trade some of their collection to obtain some collectibles that they need. Let's take a look how this is done.

How Do I Start A Trade?

By selecting "Trading" from the menu on the left of the screen, you will be taken into the trades page. The first thing you will have the ability to do is select from a recommended list of collectors or collectors that you are following. Kolex makes suggestions to you based on current collectors that hold collectibles that you may need to complete your collections. If you are more comfortable or have discussed a trade with a collector that you follow you can do this. you will also be able to search collectors usernames to make a trade offer to them.

The next feature that is listed on this page is the Kolex trade chat. This allows collectors to list collectibles that they have for trade or request a collectible that they would like to trade for. This is useful if you do not know anyone in the community that may have what your looking for or you do not want to spend the time searching for it. If you see something on the chat that you would like to pursue then simply select the "Initiate Trade" icon next to the collectors name.

The final thing that you will see on this page will be any incoming/outgoing trades or offers. You can easily select one of the items to accept, decline, or update any of them.

How Do I Complete A Trade?

Once you have determined who you want to trade with you can start the trade process. you will initially be taking into the trade room where you will see an incoming and outgoing section for you to fill out. Start by selecting the collectible from the collector that you are trading with in the incoming section. You will be able to see what they have in their collections and select any of their collection. Anything that you may need within your collection will show a green "Need" icon next to it. You will do the same within your collection in the outgoing section. Once you have your selections you be able to see the trade data at the top of the page which includes the point difference for your collection and theirs as well as how many items are included from each collector. These are the leaderboard points that you may be adding or losing if this trade is accepted. This is important data if you are trying to increase your leaderboard ranking. If you are happy with the trade then select "Send Trade." You will see any incoming or outgoing trade offers on the trading home page.

If you are reviewing an incoming trade offer you will see the trade room with the same trade data. This data will allow you to see how practical the offer is which will allow you to accurately accept/decline/counter the offer.
